CODE ENFORCEMENT HEARING

Special Magistrate Regina Kardash called the meeting to order at 6:01 p.m. followed by a moment of silence and the Pledge of Allegiance. All people wishing to speak were duly sworn.

Special Magistrate Kardash approved the Minutes as written.

Violation Location: 1511 12th Street Drive West, Palmetto, FL 34221
Codes Violated: Chapter 16, Section 16.26(2)- Accumulation of Garbage
Code Enforcement Officer Shawn Williams re-inspected the property on July 28, 2020 and shared photos showing the property is still out of compliance. Evidence was presented to Magistrate Kardash for her consideration and made a part of these minutes. Magistrate Kardash acknowledged there has been improvement but the property is still in violation of the City Code of Ordinances.
SETTLEMENT: Magistrate Kardash found the property in violation of the City Code of Ordinances, and imposed a fine of $10.00 per day commencing July 27, 2020 and continuing until the property is brought into compliance. Administrative costs were not imposed, just the daily fine.
5. NEW BUSINESS
The next Code Enforcement Hearing is scheduled for Tuesday, August 25, 2020.
Magistrate Kardash adjourned the hearing at 6:06 p.m.
