Code Enforcement Officer Ken Sexton shared photos and details of the case, which have been submitted to the Magistrate for his consideration and made a part of these minutes. Aug 13, original email was sent to the property owner and registered agent. November 26, NOV given until December 20, 2024 to comply. 14 Feb compliance date. Oct
Matt Gutrie, site has an approved permit for construction. Electric supplies, windows, construction materials. Mr. Guthrie has been involved in constructing and improving multiple properties in Palmetto, including landscaping. Storage unit is on the property with the intent of building on the property. Respondent felt that a construction site is allowed to have onsite storage and an office.
Magistrate Lewis asked for a copy of the active permit. Mr. Guthrie says he bought the property, demolished the old home, divided the lots and plans to build.
STIPULATION: Magistrate Lewis found the respondent in violation given until February 14th by removing the POD or obtaining a permit. If the violation is not corrected by Feb 1. Case heard at 02.25 Hearing.

Code Enforcment Officer Ken Sexton shared photos and details of the case for the Magistrate’s consideration and the
Exterminate by an approved process not dangerous to human health. Pestt emination and prevent reinfestation.
Notice of Violation 12.12.24 mailed and posted. 01.16.25 Notice of Hearing. No contact with the Respondent. Recommended action is to exterminate by 02.14.25. Fine of $25/day City of Palmetto allowed to bring the property into compliance.
Denny Worman, neighbor residing at G-26. Neighbor continues this dangerous behavior, neighbors. Magistrate is not allowed to hear public comment in a quasi-judicial hearing. The Respondent is not present but still has rights.
STIPULATION: Respondent in violation of chapter 17 g02.14.25 to correct the violation. Not in compliance, the City of Palmetto may make reasonable repairs Risk to public safety. Hears 02.25.25
